People often suggest we show before and after photos so here are some taken this summer! I spent a very happy day in June working at the Straw Patch Project in Ilfracombe with head gardener Sarah and a group of volunteers planting up a Devon bank. Just two months later the tulbaghia, verbena rigida, California poppies and Birdsfoot trefoil had taken off! Was it Alpaca manure we used? The bank was visited by LOADS AND LOADS of butterflies.
